Movies

I Watched this movie one million hundred times as a child. Yes, the plot is very soap opera, but I Don't Care! I love the styling in this film, so many retro outfits. This movie put me onto a lot of good songs and this film was my introduction to Timbaland.

I would play this DVD a lot growing up, I never had the patience to sit through the entire movie. I did recently, the last act feels a bit dull, but i love the Story for the most part. I love the retro-futurism of the early 2000s, i wish the movie took place more in the futurist setting as opposed to earth but still, i find enjoyment in this movie.

I have seen this film several times throughout my life understanding the themes and such the older i get. I mostly saw this on Disney Channel, its still one of my favorite Disney films and i loved, i mean LOVED the warden's nail polish scene.Several other scenes and moments in this film remain etched in my brain

super quirky film that gets really batshit insane in a goodway. As someone trying to break into corporate America this film spoke to me and i urge you to check it out especially if you are a Lakeith Stanfield fan!

It deserved that damned Oscar!Beautiful film, very touching with themes on black masculinity and identity

NOT MY FUCKING TEMPO!!

Saw this in theartres when it came out!I love the design of jean jacket, the diffrent chapters in the film being named after the animals and I wish i could rewatch the Gordy scene for the first time again. Excellent film i need to watch it some more!

this is kind of like Homers Odyssey... but spongebob. Its the best Spongebob movie and is the end of a golden age of spongebob in my opionion

This film franchise shaped the trajectory of my life in ways i cannot even fully comprehend. It solidified spiderman as my favorite superhero and Spider-Man 2 is one of the greatest genre films of all time. While the trilogy didn't end perfectly, the foccus on the characters and their interpersonal struggles, growth and relationships keeps this trilogy near the top of the list for spiderman films

I didn't realize as a child how much i was influenced by this fim via osmosis through my father. this film was monumental in my dad getting into karate leading into me being into karate, did you know that? My dad was a karate instructor and I did karate for like 12 years.I did so many Katas to the dwight david "last dragon" song.

When i was a kid, before Spider-Man2 became my favorite movie,Like Mike was my favorite movie. i remember watching it at my older cousins house, its is a familar and nostaligic movie to me, im pretty sure it was the first time i saw Bow-Wow, and after rewatching the movie I completely overlooked that Brenda Song was it as well.

yeah i know...Still a solid movie with a disturbingly relatable performance revolving male body image issues that the media often overlooks or glorify, and yeah i don't think i have the best media literacy because i walked away from the film thinking MY deltoids were too small... which is quite insulting

solid movie with solid performances showingcasing a tragic and cautionary tale, a family haunted by grief reinforced by toxic masculinity, and a fathers attempt at legacy. not for cry babies who cry at movies...not me tho i was crying for sepreate unrelated reasons

A lovely stop motion animated antholgy film, i wish more films did this anthology style.while the three narritives are seemingly vast in subject they all revolve around this particular house set.Seeing the same locations, be recontextualized in different narritives was super interesting and showcased an array of creative visions with the same house set and it reminded me of another movie i love...

i was a little late to the game watching this, but i loved it since, it introduced me to Wes Anderson films and being a bing fan of animation and stop motion animation in particular. i love the presentation of the narritive and world along with the color grading, saturated but leaning into a warmer palette, going off memory I don't recall any green in the foliage, only shades of reds, yellows and oranges being set in the fall, while im usually not a fan of warmer tones and oversaturated films-like the "Mexico filter" in American media, i like the way this film was colored wait a minute thats not true because i like Rango... wait a minute-

A Damn masterpiece of an animated film, i wish i had the foresight as a stupid as kid with no taste to see it in theaters, which is bull shit and im sorry Rango movie, i saw that fucking jusstin bieber documentary and michael jackson this is it documentary in theaters but not Rango.it stll holds up visually to this day and the story revolving around uh... water scarcity was ahead of the curve
Music

I first heard this album on YouTube. I really love the strings on the opening track and Laila has a really pleasing voice that gives this album a casual, cozy and coffee shop feel.

I love this song so much, I am writing a story and Ghostboobss is the soundtrack my main character woukd listen to.I love the raw sound of the mix and how blown out and distorted things are sometimes.

This was a surprise as i came across this artist through their Tik Tok account where they made comedy skits, but comedy be damned that boy can sing!

heard one song on a playlist and couldn't stop listening, I heard the whole soundtrack and fell in love, it sounds so much like Aphex Twin. Tracks 2,6 and 8 are bangers man!I literally never heard of this game before this ost

A mix that got me into jungle mixes, and this sound track was the backdrop to my 2023 summer. I love the energy of this mix, of all 4 chapters they released the 2nd one is my favorite followed up by chapter 1 then 3 and i am indifferent about the rest

Sex! what more do i have to say? this album has Dream which is top 3 thugger songs of all time

heard this album around 2018 in highschool i love it so much i like to listen to it when i do chores around the house and when the sun is shining

I heard this album the first time i ever flown on an airplane so now i associate this album with boarding a plane and taking off. Its nice to listen to as background music it makes my life feel like a 2000s playstation video game

Surf Surf Surf Surf Surf Surf SurfINNN!

i listened to this album so much in 2023, it was my gym album. The audio sounds compressed and distorted at time but i love it for that, its raw rough production and off the wall delieveries especially from Danny.

I heard this album second although cronologically it goes first, i heard of this group from a cool but weird ass video for their "they left me with a gun" music video, i listened to that ep and then came to this one, i like the opening of this ep with the more aggressive rap flow in dogma 23, you can hear a lot of influence from artist that influenced them in these ep, although i listen to this ep second and i often show people the they left me with a gun music video to show them the artist, i one song on this album to me is better than all of they left me with a gun,"El Camino" is an energetic and spacy send off to the ep with an instrumental break that is immaculate to listen to on car trips

This Ep picks up on the energy left off by El Camino in the previous Ep taking the rap delivery to experimental highs with non conformist beats, flows and guitar rifts. i love songs like Mudbone and Halo

im a big sucker for cyberpunk style techno and electronic music, this guy made a popular retrofuturistic rave circa the 2000s sound, this particular ep, "Ethernet" is notably good, I often listen and play Cyberpunk 2077 to this ep.the song "Mall Corps" encapsulates the cyberpunk corporate techno feel that game often invokes
TV Shows

One of my favorite animated series, I LOVE THE DIALOUGE! Of all the series i watched i wouldn't mind being stuck in the shows world, all the characters feel real and like cool people with distinct personalities, i wish we had more BUT, im glad we got what we got.

one of my favortie comedies of all time, as the series progress if feels more and more surreal and the comedy becomes more and more absurdly dark. This show NEEDs more viewers and fans, super underrated!

My favorite season of power rangers, its so damned cool, the Disney era of Power Rangers was something special man! It's one of the few Power rangers seasons I actually own on Dvd.The setting takes place in 2025 which is pretty funny. Its one of the only poewer ranger sesons i would say is better than its super sentai counterpart.

My dad had the full dvd box set for the first season for this show and i feel like i watched the pilot one million times. This show was so funny and I miss bernie mac so much man.A classic and underated black family sitcom

It was so refreshing watching this dysfuctional working class family, its so relatable and i love the entire family cast in this show. Every character plays their part so well!

i don't usually watch reality tv, but when i do its some cool shit like this! Its literally so cool seeing the effects artist work their magic from concept to final design and throughout the show i have seen some really stunning designs and character creations!

I evolved from wanting to watch the show as a chold because i was naive and thought it was porn, and being disapointed that it wasn't, to becoming and adult and actual adult and appreciating the show for its cast,Miranda and Charlotte were my favorite. If i had any patience as a kid i would've seen plenty of sex in the show. Also i love how the first season was shot and color graded, very vibrant, similar to Spider-man"2002" also the later seasons don't have those little interviews with random New Yorkers like season one,I miss that.
Other Media

One of my favorite puzzle games, up there with return of the Obra Dinn. I love the integration of uncovering the narritive directly with the core gameplay loop.

Hands down set the precedent for a higher level of puzzle game for me. A perfect integration of Story narrtive and gameplay where the two bleeds into one another. Highly recommended. If you like solving macabre mysteries on a boat, this is your game!

I Love the game dev genre, of the two game dev sims i played,This one is my favorite! It feels so carthartic making a succesful game and having it sell well.

the game had an awful reputation when it came out, the infamous launch was riddled with bugs that made the game uplayable... lucky for me i was broke and couldn't afford the game or a modern console.By the time i got a ps5 and the game, it was fixed. Its one of my favorite RPGs the world is so lively and immersive, especially with the HUD turned off!
