Skechers Comic Mascot Shrine!
(The Original Comic & Ad Continuity)
The Campaign & Lost Media
Around the late 2000s (circa 2009), Skechers launched a major promotional campaign for their children's shoe lines. To capture kids' imaginations, they created a universe of superhero mascots, each with unique powers directly inspired by the features of the shoes they represented (like flexibility, lights, cooling, etc.).
This campaign was quite extensive, featuring animated commercials, vibrant in-store displays, posters, and most notably, mini-comic books packaged inside the shoeboxes! These comics fleshed out the characters and their world.
Over time, many of these mini-comics have become scarce, turning into sought-after pieces of "lost media" for fans of the era. This shrine celebrates those original characters from the comics and advertisements.
Important Note: This page focuses *only* on the original comic book and advertising continuity for these characters, NOT the separate continuity presented in the later Nicktoons show "Zevo-3".
